Can I get an appointment today?

Please call our office at 407-351-5384 to inquire with one of our schedulers. We do have last minute cancellations and if so, you may be able to get in today or tomorrow at one of our offices.

Do you accept my Insurance?

In order to best meet the needs of our patients, Mid-Florida Cardiology participates in most insurance plans. Medicare assignment is accepted. Insurance claims will be filed for all covered services. Please call our office to inquire if we participate in your plan. You may also check your plan to verify our participation and to confirm referral and co-payment requirements.

How can I get my prescription refilled?

Please call our office and follow the prompts to leave a message for our medical staff to refill your prescription.

How do I speak with a nurse?

Our office has a triage nurse available for your immediate questions. Please call and ask to speak with the triage nurse if your question can’t wait for a phone call back from your physician’s nurse. You may follow the phone prompt or press zero to ask the operator to transfer you to the triage nurse. If your call can wait, and your physician’s nurse is with patients, she will call you back when she is done.

Why do I need to bring my medical records or the practice need s to request them?

In order to perform a complete evaluation, a review of your past medical history is required. Your medical records have valuable information so that we may better treat you.

What is Angina?

This is the medical term utilized for chest pain due to myocardial ischemia, in which the heart muscle doesn’t receive enough blood for a given level of activity, resulting in chest pain.

Can I change office locations or physicians in the practice?

You may request to go to any of our three locations if more convenient to you (Orlando, Ocoee or Clermont). Some of our physicians do not travel to all locations and you may certainly request to see another physician if it is more convenient or if it is your preference.
